The Yellow Ajah of the Aes Sedai are dedicated to Healing through use of the One Power.[1][2]
Overview[]
The Yellow Ajah is for women drawn to healing. They spend their lives in the service of their sister and their community. Yellow sisters have a passion to fix what is broken.[3]
History[]
Season 1[]
An Aes Sedai of the Yellow Ajah is captured and tortured by the Children of the Light, and is burned at the stake by Eamon Valda.[4]
After Nynaeve al'Meara unleashes a great wave of Healing, Moiraine Damodred and Liandrin Guirale discuss how the Yellow Ajah would likely love to have Nynaeve among their ranks if she becomes a novice, though Liandrin believes Nynaeve is a better fit for the Red Ajah.[5]
When Perrin Aybara and Egwene al'Vere arrive in Tar Valon, the Yellow sisters heal the wounds that the Children of the Light inflicted on Perrin. Yellow Sitters are present when Moiraine, Liandrin, and Alanna Mosvani are called before the Amyrlin Seat, though no Sitters raise any objections.[6]
