An unnamed Aes Sedai of the Yellow Ajah is a minor character in The Wheel of Time television series portrayed by Evelyn Mok.
This Aes Sedai of the Yellow Ajah sends word to Moiraine when Egwene al'Vere and Perrin Aybara arrive in a healing house in Tar Valon.
History[]
Season 1[]
While Moiraine is at a public bath, she recieves a small feather, indicating there's a message for her. Maigan is with her at the time and comments, "More secrets?" indicating that this is a secret message and others, even Maigan, do not know what it means.[1]
Moiraine goes to the healing house where she speaks to the Yellow Aes Sedai, who tells Moiraine that she sent word as soon as she saw Egwene and Perrin. She also informs Moiraine that Egwene and Perrin had been taken by Whitecloaks.[1]
The Yellow Aes Sedai takes Moiraine to the room, and leaves Moiraine to talk with Egwene and Perrin privately.[1]
Relationships[]
The Yellow Aes Sedai works with Moiraine, and freely provides her with information on the people Moiraine is looking for. As Moiraine seemed to want to keep the existance of the Two Rivers villagers somewhat secret, this shows that Moiraine has some trust with the woman. That the Yellow Aes Sedai would send Moiraine a nondescript item as a message, this could likewise suggest that the woman is aware of the secretive nature of the information and aims to help Moiraine keep it secret.

The Yellow Aes Sedai has fair skin, black hair, and a plump build. She wears yellow clothes to represent her ajah.
