Verin Mathwin is a character in The Wheel of Time television series, first appearing in season 2. She is portrayed by Meera Syal.[1]

History[]
Early life[]
Verin was born somewhere in the Westlands. She studied at the White Tower in Tar Valon, and was eventually raised to Aes Sedai, choosing the Brown Ajah.[2] Her sister, Adeleas, also became an Aes Sedai.[3] After becoming an Aes Sedai, Verin bonded with a Warder named Tomas.[4]
In the late 960s NE, Verin became the owner of a house in Tifan's Well. She intended to spend years away from the White Tower to write a History of the World Since the Breaking with Adeleas.[5]

Verin is an adult woman with light-brown skin and short silver-gray hair streaked with black. She wears brown clothes, such as a brown hooded cloak, and wears her Aes Sedai Great Serpent ring on her left hand.
