Uno Nomesta is a character in The Wheel of Time television series portrayed by Guy Roberts. Uno is a Shienaran soldier from Fal Dara.
History[]
Early life[]
Uno was born in Shienar. He became a close friend of Lan Mandragoran, the Uncrowned King of Malkier, during his time in Fal Dara. He serves as a soldier in the retinue of Lord Agelmar Jagad.
Season 1[]
Uno greets Lan warmly upon his return to Fal Dara with Moiraine Damodred and four youths from the Two Rivers, Rand al'Thor, Perrin Aybara, Egwene al'Vere and Nynaeve al'Meara. Lan and Moiraine proceed to meet with Lord Agelmar and Lady Amalisa, and are welcomed to the city.[1]
When Rand and Moiraine make their way to the Eye of the World, a great army of Shadowspawn threaten to pour out of Tarwin's Gap and attack Fal Dara. While most of the men in the city make their way to Tarwin's Gap, Uno and Lord Yakota are tasked with unearthing the Horn of Valere from its hiding place in the keep, so that it can be blown by the Dragon Reborn during the Last Battle. Perrin encounters Uno and Yakota beginning to dig up the Horn, and starts to help. However, the Darkfriend Padan Fain infiltrates the keep and stabs Uno, Yakota, and the Ogier, Loial, with a ruby-hilted dagger from Shadar Logoth.[2]
Season 2[]
Uno is part of the Shienaran group after Padan Fain and the Horn of Valere, along with Perrin, Loial, Ingtar Shinowa, and Masema Dagar.[3] In Atuan's Mill, Uno and the others are attacked by the Seanchan and taken prisoner.[4] The morning after the attack, the Seanchan tell the prisoners that they must swear oaths to the Seanchan empire. Uno, who has secretly kept a knife hidden from his captors, prepares to go out fighting but Ingtar stops him. The Seanchan soldier Arrata, who Uno had been glaring murderously at, volunteers Uno to be the first to swear. Uno refuses, and the Seanchan soldiers impale him on a spiked horn, killing him as an example. The other prisoners kneel and take the oath.[5]
During the Battle of Falme, when Mat blows the Horn of Valere while under attack from Seanchan soldiers, Uno is reincarnated as one of the Heroes of the Horn. Uno saves Perrin and Loial from the vengeful Dain Bornhald before fighting Seanchan troops in the town streets.

Uno is fair-skinned and has blond hair and a beard. He has only one eye, and always wears an eyepatch. His head, neck, and arms are covered in scars.
