Moiraine: This man has been born again.
: And him, they named Dragon.
Gitara: You must find the Dragon Reborn, and prepare the world to follow.
Rand: It's true, isn't it? What they say about men who can channel.
: That eventually they go so mad they kill everyone they've ever loved.
Moiraine: It is.
: We didn't defeat the Dark One, we set his strongest lieutenant free.
: Tell them I died here.
: [screams]
Moiraine: That is Lanfear, the most dangerous of the Forsaken.
: Daughter of the Night. She walks again.
Siuan: And when we fight the Last Battle,
: you will be the greatest weapon in our arsenal.
: No one should have that much power.
Alanna: You can either embrace what you are, or fear it.
: You don't know if I'll be able to channel when I get there.
: I've let you carry this burden for 20 years, love.
: You're not in this alone any longer, sister.
Lan: Let's go.
Siuan: Moiraine Damodred, if you have ever loved me, don't do this.
: I command you to close the Waygate.
: The Keeper rules the Tower when the Amyrlin is away.
Liandrin: You know, if she falls you'll fall with her.
: Do you think it might look like this if a Weave of Compulsion was being used?
: It would mean that someone in the Tower has sworn to the dark.
Ryma: Liandrin Sedai. How is she a part of this?
: She's a Darkfriend.
Ryma: But that means…
: Black Ajah. Then all of our sisters are in grave danger.
: [grunts]
Moghedien: Ishamael let us out.
: Moghedien.
Moghedien: You and Ishamael were always too close to the Dragon.
: The rest of us don't share that failing.
: He's ours now. All five of them are.
: [all screaming]
: [grunting]
: [screaming]
: [pensive music plays]
Leane: It's time, Mother.
Lan: She'll be all right.
Moiraine: Today isn't about her.
: [tense music plays]
: The Amyrlin's requested a Sitting of the Hall.
: She's called you to the floor.
: I have a few matters I'd like to raise before the Hall myself.
: We stand with you, sister, no matter the charges.
: Where are we going? And why?
: Always plan for the worst, my sisters.
: That way all of your surprises will be pleasant ones.
Maksim: What if the others are working with Liandrin?
: Let us stand with you.
: You know men can't enter the Hall without just cause.
: Mother has closed it to all who are non-Sitters.
: And she has a plan for the Reds.
: We are ready, Ihvon. Hmm?
: Mother has deemed this a Sitting Sealed to the Hall…
: and to the Red Ajah.
: Every Sitter has the right to speak in the Hall.
Leane: Only 11 Sitters are required by tradition.
: Liandrin Sedai will speak for the Reds today, but you will not hear her.
: Attend you all. She comes.
: The Watcher of the Seals, the Flame of Tar Valon, the Amyrlin Seat.
: Liandrin Sedai, do you know why I have called you here today?
: Because you wish to silence me.
: It's no secret I've never courted your favor.
: And frankly, I'm glad of it, -knowing what I now do about you. -[all murmuring]
: I accuse you, Mother, of breaking Tower custom and law.
: [murmuring]
: Then continue, Daughter, and I will answer.
: An Aes Sedai cannot lie.
Liandrin: A month ago, Mother called 13 sisters to Cairhien, for some unknown purpose.
: In the chaos that followed, as the city burned, it became clear that Mother had met Moiraine Sedai, whom she banished from the Tower, and a young man who could channel.
: Rand al'Thor, who proclaimed himself Dragon Reborn in Falme.
: Mother met him.
: [murmuring]
Liandrin: The man this Tower is duty-bound to cage and control.
: Mother willingly let him escape.
: -[murmuring continues] -[bangs staff]
Siuan: If you have proof that these accusations were true, then the Hall would have no choice but to restrict my authority, decree a penance, or even depose me.
: But I know what most women in this Hall do not…
: that you, Liandrin Guirale, can break the Three Oaths.
: -You have sworn yourself to the Shadow. -[murmuring, gasping]
: You are a Darkfriend.
: [chuckles]
: Well, this is madness.
: You see what she will do to silence me?
: You have no proof.
: The Hall calls Nynaeve al'Meara to the floor…
: [door opens]
: …whom Liandrin kidnapped and sold to the Seanchan.
: [door closes]
: [tense music plays]
: [inhales deeply]
: [whispers] Well…
: I tried.
: You dare use the Power against your sisters in this Hall?
: [dramatic music plays]
: You have betrayed us all.
: And now you will be tried, stilled, and give up every member of the Black Ajah before you die.
Liandrin: You're right!
: I will!
: Join me now!
: [Leane exclaims]
: [grunting]
: [exclaims]
: [all screaming]
: -[grunts] -[grunts]
: -Alanna! We're coming! -Alanna!
: -Alanna! -We're coming!
Tsutama: Stand back! Get away from the door.
: You will not pass us.
: Do you want your Aes Sedai killed, you fool?
: Move!
: [screaming]
: [no audible dialogue]
: -[grunts] -[exclaims]
: [screams, distorted]
: -[clamoring] -[groaning]
: What's happening in the Hall? We should help the Amyrlin.
: We are.
: On the other side of this wall is the 13th Depository.
Nyomi: I thought it didn't exist.
: Inside are our strongest sa'angreal and ter'angreal.
Verin: I can't protect these alone.
Adeleas: There are few we can trust here.
: Out of our way. Move!
: -[exclaims] -[all clamoring]
Maksim: Thank the Light. Jeaine.
: -Chesmal. -Help us get inside.
: No.
: [grunting]
Tsutama: I've killed your Warders, I'll kill you too.
Jeaine: Oh, yes, I can feel it. I can feel them dying. [chuckles] It's so good.
Maksim: She's… She's Black Ajah, too.
Verin: Mother has asked us to protect these objects.
: Whatever the cost, no matter who or what comes for them.
: Oh, Verin, finally.
: Finally, I don't have to listen to your bullshit anymore.
: [gasping]
: [all clamoring]
: [exclaiming]
: [grunting]
: [dramatic music plays]
: [groaning]
: [Leane grunts]
: [screaming]
: Link with me.
: [breathing heavily]
Liandrin: Quick, get to the docks.
: [all groaning, coughing]
Alanna: How can so many be sworn to the Shadow?
: [breathing heavily]
: Find them!
: Split up. We cannot let them leave this city.
: Adeleas…
: Who are you?
: [inhales sharply]
: [residents screaming, clamoring]
: You got it?
: And whatever else I could carry.
: You will not leave this city alive.
: [suspenseful music plays]
: [all grunting]
: [dramatic music plays]
: [grunting]
: [exclaims]
: [grunts]
: [screams]
: [gasps]
: [exhales sharply]
: -[Maksim grunting, straining] -[Ihvon grunting, straining]
: [exclaims]
: [grunting, groaning]
Siuan: Alanna signaled. She's at the south gate.
: [both grunting]
: [grunts]
: On your knees, Mother.
: -You're Liandrin's now. -[grunting]
: [grunts]
: [grunting]
: -[grunts] -[exclaiming]
: -[grunts] -[grunts]
: -[grunts] -[grunts]
Liandrin: We should signal the others. Let's go.
Maksim: Alanna!
: [grunting]
: [both breathing heavily]
Alanna: Maksim…
: Ihvon… I can't… I can't feel him.
: No… No…
: No, no. No!
: No!
: No! [sobs]
: [sobbing]
: [straining]
: [grunting]
Joiya: I can't hold her! She's breaking through.
Amico: Screw what Liandrin wants. We'll have to finish her.
Amico: How did she…
Joiya: She didn't. She's still shielded.
: [grunting]
: [breathing shakily]
: [breathing heavily]
: Nynaeve…
: Nynaeve.
: Nynaeve.
: Nynaeve. Come on.
: -[breathing shakily] -Yes.
: Yes.
Egwene: We should've been in that Hall with you. Me and Elayne. So what if we don't have the ring? These ridiculous Tower rules… We could've kept you safe.
: Safe's not possible anymore.
: We were already running from the Forsaken.
: And now the Black Ajah.
: Who knows how many of them?
: So, what now?
: Moiraine wants me to go to Tear.
: Why Tear?
Egwene: One of the most powerful sa'angreal is there. In a fortress called the Stone of Tear. It's a sword, Callandor.
Mat: [in Old Tongue] The sword that is not a sword. [in English] Uh, carry on.
: That sword can… What? Kill Forsaken? Defeat the Dark One?
: You know what prophecies are like. Nothing's clear.
: Look, why can't we just go where no one's heard of the Dragon?
Egwene: Where? People are already talking about what happened in Falme here in Tar Valon. It's halfway across the world.
: [stammers] Wherever we go, we… we do it together.
: Together.
Elayne: Moiraine wants us.
Moiraine: The city is not safe. Obviously. I would ask you all to stay here. But I know you'll do as you wish. So, please remember that the person shining your shoes will give your description to the Southharbor fishmonger. Who in turn will speak quietly to the innkeeper at the Upriver Run, who is a woman who reports every suspicious newcomer directly to the Red Ajah. Cover your hair, and hide your weapons. If word of the Dragon has reached this far, you can be sure the Aes Sedai have heard it first. And after what happened today I don't want any of you near another Aes Sedai. We sail for Tear at dawn.
: Where are you going?
Moiraine: Into the city.
Loial: Why does she always want to leave at dawn? Why not after a hearty breakfast?
Mat: Loial, I'd love to chat about that, but I have been cooped up on a boat for a month, and there is not a bloody chance I'm staying in. Yeah? Rand? Perrin? You coming? Come on! One last hurrah.
Mat: What do you think my chances are?
Perrin: With what?
Mat: With the Aiel girls.
Perrin: [chuckles] They hate you, Mat.
: Enough.
: Please. Stay here.
: Our place is protecting you, Rand al'Thor.
: It is our duty to see he-who-could-be Car'a'carn safely to the Three-fold Land.
: Then, as your Car'a'carn, I command you stay here.
: [chuckles]
: You have not earned that title.
: Or the right to lead us.
: You haven't faced the Trial of Rhuidean.
: See, I don't know what the Trial of Rhuidean is because you won't talk to me.
: And it's been a month now.
: All you do is stare and roll your eyes.
: So, tell me.
: I have been measuring the kind of man you are.
: Hundreds of thousands of our people have been waiting for the Car'a'carn's arrival.
: To think it might be you…
: Whatever your blood, your face, your hair, you have no feeling for us.
: You are a wetlander, through and through.
Egwene: When Rand and I are together it's…
: It's like we're back home and nothing's changed, but…
: Everything's changed.
: When…
: When he touches me, I… I can't…
: I remember her.
: -Renna? -I'm trying to forget.
: [inhales sharply]
: And I think I'm all right, but then…
: Every night… [breathes shakily]
: [inhales sharply] …I see her in my dreams.
: [music playing]
: So, Jonas, mate, do you want me to, like, lift my chin up a bit more?
: Right. Like this. Or… Or I could bend the knee a bit, like a little lean.
: You've got to be kidding me.
: All right. You may not know this, given that you've got your Dragon head up your Dragon ass, but I blew the Horn of Valere.
: Whoa, whoa, wait. That was you?
: -Mat Cauthon? From the Two Rivers? -Yes, that's me.
: Mat Cauthon. Hornblower. Hero of the Ages.
: Ah, there's not enough ale in the world to deal with this.
: Here we are.
: A simple sheep-shagger, the brooding blacksmith, and a devastatingly handsome gambler.
: So, in the spirit of normality, you and Egwene.
: -It's suddenly all back on, is it? -We haven't really talked about it.
: -Ah, it's been a month. -Yeah. I mean, what's there to talk about?
: He's never even kissed another girl, so why bother pretending that it's anything -but what's written in the pattern? -[Perrin clicks tongue] Mmm.
: -Hang on. What's th… What is this? -Ooh.
: Have you kissed another girl? [chuckles] Or… Or more?
: -Who? -[Mat] Not Aviendha.
: No. The only people who she smiles at are Elayne -and Perrin. -No. It's not like that between us.
: -Well, it could be. -Mm-mmm.
: So, who else? Uh… Bain? Chiad?
: -Bain and Chiad? -[Perrin] Mmm.
: -[chuckles] -[Mat] Good luck.
: I've been working on that for weeks.
: You're going to get yourself speared, you know that?
: Light, I really hope so.
: [both chuckling]
: [Mat] A toast. To three lads from a small mountain village.
: May we all… [in Old Tongue] …find comfort in the arms of a thousand ginger ladies.
: Um…
: [in English] Ah, shit. I, uh, I did it again, didn't I?
: Cheers. [stammers] Whatever.
: It's all right, mate.
: [stammers] You're not getting away with this.
: She was a woman, in Cairhien.
: An innkeeper. Selene.
: -Selene! -Selene!
: -All right. Older? Gorgeous? -[chuckles]
: One more round. [chuckles]
: [ominous music plays]
: [Verin] The Black Ajah stole our most powerful weapons.
: We still don't know where they went, or if there are more of them.
: Seems that the Last Battle grows ever closer, now that the Dragon's declared himself.
: I assume he's here with you.
: I have no intention of allowing Rand al'Thor anywhere near the Aes Sedai.
Verin: You still think it matters, what you intend?
: Before he declared himself, Rand was under your care and your control.
: But now you have to cede all of that, trust his decisions.
: Ah, you overestimate his progress.
: Today I was attacked by a woman I watched grow from girlhood.
: I trusted Nyomi without question.
: And now my sister's clever mind is a shattered mess because I believed I had the measure of a person.
: And I did not.
: And I know that you believe in the Dragon Reborn, Moiraine.
: But you really need to ask yourself, can you believe in Rand al'Thor?
Perrin: I couldn't do what you're doing, you know.
: All these people are looking to you, asking what's next.
: You do it so well.
: [Rand scoffs] Do I?
Perrin: You don't give yourself enough credit.
: You don't give yourself enough.
: No, no, no, I'm not a leader. Don't have it in me.
: See, you guys, yes.
: Even Mat. I'd follow him anywhere.
: Probably drown in a barrel of wine, but he'd convince me it was the right choice.
: -[chuckles]
: Look, I don't know what the Wheel will bring, but I know you'll make the right choice.
: Are you leaving?
Mat: All right.
: Look at this beauty.
: I mean, it's not bad, is it? [stammers]
: I'm thinking of getting a couple of miniatures done, like little souvenirs for all the ladies whose hearts I'll regretfully break.
: Um, it's all gone a bit serious.
: What are we serious about?
: Nothing. Come on… [clears throat] …it's your roll.
: What is it?
: [ominous music plays]
: [gasps]
: [chuckles]
: [exhales heavily]
: You didn't even embrace the Source.
: That doesn't mean I'm unprepared.
: You do know that he's not going to go to Tear.
Moiraine: I'm surprised you want him to.
: He killed Ishamael, even without Callandor.
: Ishy was a gentle soul with big dreams.
: The other Chosen, they couldn't care less if Rand joins the Shadow or breaks the Wheel. They just want him dead.
: Well, that's good to hear. It means they haven't found him yet.
Lanfear: Rest assured, they will.
: And every minute he's not armed with Callandor is a moment they might strike.
: But I know them.
: And I know Rand, too.
: The Dark parts you wish you could ignore.
: [exhales heavily]
: He told me you've been coming to him since Falme, in his dreams.
: That you're pushing him for the same thing I am, to go to Tear. To get Callandor.
: I think it's part of the reason he doesn't want to.
: No. The reason he doesn't want to are these friends of his.
: They tie him to the boy he used to be, not the man he must become.
: And much like I know the other Chosen, you know these kids.
: You know what will make them hurt, what will make them leave him behind.
: You think I will hurt them to get him to do what we want.
: Yes.
: To be honest, that's the only thing I like about you.
: -We cannot trust her. -Of course not.
: But I think we can trust that she doesn't want the others to find Rand.
: Well, for now, maybe.
: But Rand killed one of the Forsaken in Falme.
: -[scoffs] -They're supposed to be immortal.
: She smart enough to worry he'll do the same to her someday.
: And as for the other six, she's more afraid of them than she ever was of Ishamael.
: [scoffs] I have a sneaking suspicion she's not well liked.
: She betrayed them, Moiraine. She will betray us, too.
: Tomorrow, maybe. But not tonight.
: I don't think she will tonight.
: Go to the Tower, though, and get your Malkieri blade.
: If I'm wrong, we kill her.
Egwene: I'm just saying, -you're the only one Aviendha talks to. -That's not true.
: She hates the rest of us. [chuckles] Especially Rand.
Elayne: She doesn't.
: She's Aiel. The-Their culture is--
: Oh, I bet you're well-acquainted with their culture.
: [all chuckling]
: Mother.
: Mother.
Siuan: Unless you plan to jeopardize a centuries-old alliance between Andor and the Tower, I expect to see you back in your novice whites tomorrow.
: Go on. Enjoy what freedom remains to you.
: While the three of us have a conversation.
: Rand told us what you tried to do to him.
: I'm not going back to your Tower.
: I can't undo the choices I've made.
: Even if I regret them, in part.
: But now the Black Ajah have attacked the Tower.
: Our world has changed.
: I could say the Last Battle is coming.
: The Forsaken walk amongst us, the Light needs you.
: But you know that already.
: The truth is, while the Dragon is our greatest weapon against the Shadow, soon enough he'll become a greater danger to himself and those he loves.
: Because the more men channel, the more they go mad.
: And you'll have to watch it happen.
: Watch your love for each other splinter and rot because of a cruel turn of the Wheel.
: And when that day comes, you'll be grateful for what you learned at the Tower.
: And we will be grateful to have your power at our side to stop him.
: I won't do that.
: If you leave the city without the Great Serpent ring, you'll never be allowed to return.
: Whatever the Aes Sedai could offer you or him will be gone.
: No. She doesn't need it. I have the ring.
: You don't have the power to back it up.
Egwene: She's right.
: -Egwene… -We're not strong enough.
: Not yet.
: Not against the Forsaken or the Black Ajah.
: I'll go back to your Tower, on one condition.
: I go through the Arches.
: Today.
Siuan: Whatever awaits you, you must face with nothing but your wits.
: Not even the One Power will be available to you inside the Arches.
: And once you begin you must continue.
: Be steadfast. The way back comes but once.
Siuan: Alviarin, Leane.
: Join with me, sisters.
: [dramatic music plays]
Lan: I heard about Egwene.
: [door creaks]
Lan: She's strong, like you.
: She has suffered even more than the Arches can throw at her.
: It's not just what you see in there…
: it's the memories you're left with.
: The questions about what might have been.
Lan: Were we happy there?
: You don't have to lie to me.
: Yes.
: And no.
: Elnore, she was perfect.
: Some memories have faded, but I… I know that.
: But we'd both given up what we really wanted.
: I know that too.
: Are you doing that again by staying with Rand?
Elayne: This one to Tear.
: The other is for Queen Morgase's eyes only.
: [horse whinnies]
: Have you been watching me this whole time?
: The Car'a'carn has no use of me.
: And this wetland city is not safe.
: I can look after myself.
: Do you want me to go?
: You can take this, if you'd like.
: I'm going to make something for my last night of freedom.
: It may not be oosquai, but I'll try my best.
: I mean… [signing] …for a wetlander.
: [Aviendha chuckles] Careful, Elayne of House Trakand.
: You already have the look of an Aiel, you may be taken for one.
: Aviendha.
: He's not used to having power. Rand.
: Command doesn't sit so easily on his shoulders.
: But he will learn his duties and responsibilities to your people.
Loial: "The Stone of Tear will never fall, till Callandor is wielded by the Dragon's hand. The Stone of Tear will never fall, -"
: "-till the People of the Dragon come."
: Who are the People of the Dragon?
: That knowledge is sadly long lost.
: They could be an army. My army.
: The Stone of Tear's a fortress, right?
: Heavily guarded. Impregnable.
: Well, if it says here that under Tairen law, whoever takes the Stone of Tear becomes the rightful ruler of the country.
: -So that means… -It will be the first nation you conquer, but not the last.
: Apologies, Builder. May I have a word with Rand?
: Mmm.
: [grunts, sighs]
: I've sent a letter to a Tairen noblewoman who's friends with my mother.
: Tear's a very political city, so her support of you is crucial.
: Why would she support the Dragon conquering her city and taking its most powerful weapon?
: Well, a peaceful transfer of power is always preferable to destruction.
Rand: Either way, they lose.
Elayne: Rand, having power means accepting that any decision which helps some will hurt others. That's the truth of ruling nations. That, and knowing who to trust.
Rand: [chuckles] Yeah. You make it sound so simple.
Elayne: It's not. But you can start by not making an enemy of Aviendha.
Rand: She's made it very clear she wishes anyone but me was the Car'a'carn.
Elayne: And yet she's still here. You need a loyal army. Who better than the Aiel? Make them believe in you and they will follow you to the ends of the earth. Including Tear.
Rand: You sure I can't convince you to come with us tomorrow?
Elayne: [chuckles] And miss out on scrubbing pots and mopping floors? Andor will always be a friend to the Dragon Reborn. And so will I.
Egwene: Hyah, hyah!
: -Hyah. -[whinnies]
: [ominous music plays]
: You're sure he's gone?
: The madness has him.
: He killed Perrin and Mat. I saw it.
: [breathes deeply]
: Rand!
Rand: You finally got what you wanted.
: The Amyrlin Seat.
: You're just in time to do the thing you should've done a long, long time ago.
: Bow to me!
: Mother, what do you want us to do?
: Steel yourselves, sisters.
: Bow!
: [grunting]
: [breathes shakily]
: Well done, child.
: "On the slopes of Dragonmount shall the child be born."
Moiraine: You've been studying the prophecies.
: There's a lot of contradictions, Moiraine.
: A lot of unknowns.
: They say that Lews Therin was the one who put Callandor in the Stone of Tear.
: But only the Dragon Reborn can draw it again.
: Not if another male channeler takes it first.
: No one has taken it in 3,000 years.
: The Forsaken haven't been free.
: If they could, why haven't they yet?
: They could be waiting there for me to take it.
: -I could be walking into a trap. -So what do you want to do, then?
: You want to wait?
: You want to stay here?
: No.
: No? Then where do you want to go, Rand?
: -Where do I really want to go? -Yes. Where do you really want to go?
: Home.
: -Home? To the Two Rivers? -Yes. Yes. There are people I can trust.
: And what will your army of farmers do against the Shadowspawn?
: What will you do when your two rivers run red?
: When the waters are bloated with the swollen bodies of your family and friends?
: Rand, you're not a child. You are the Dragon Reborn.
: There is no homecoming for you. Not now, not ever.
: You don't tell me what to do anymore.
Siuan: You are Egwene al'Vere. Accepted of the White Tower.
: You are sealed to us now.
: Where are you going?
: I have the ring. I'm an Accepted now.
: So you can't keep me here.
: What you have is a duty to the Tower and the Seat.
: This Tower is destroying itself from the inside out.
: My duty is to the Light, not you.
: That sword's new.
: It's very old.
: It's the sword of the Kings of Malkier.
: It was my father's and his father's before him.
: You've never used it before.
: I've never felt worthy.
: I'm no King.
: And Malkier is much less my home than this city.
: But you wear it now.
: Not because I'm worthy…
: because I am weak.
: Because I need it.
: Why?
: The Forsaken won't just come for Rand.
: They'll come for all of us.
: And soon.
: Here.
: This sword, it's power-wrought, created with the One Power itself.
: Like Rand's heron-marked blade.
: Which killed Ishamael.
: [all chuckling]
Elayne: Another!
: How are you not dead with the amount you've drank?
: Tonight's the last fun I'll have for months, if not years.
Loial: Thank you.
: Again, then.
: To seeing double and staying single.
: [chuckles]
: This brew you've made could use a hint more of… What do you call it?
: Yes, a kick.
: -Oh. -Well, well.
: How was the patrol, ladies?
: Did you meet anyone? Or did you kill anyone?
: You must be thirsty.
: Where's Aviendha?
: Now we… We were actually just about to start a new game.
: Do you want to play an Aiel game?
: It's called Maiden's Kiss.
: -Mat. No. -Uh… Yes. Yes, that sounds like a game that we should definitely play.
: Let me ready my quill and notebook.
: -Whoa, whoa. [chuckles] -[breathes shakily]
: [chuckling] Um, um. Um.
: Um. [stammers] What are you doing?
: Now we kiss.
Bain: If it's good, the spears move back.
: -If it's bad… -Oh. [chuckles]
: You can play too.
Elayne: I thought I'd find you up here.
: You'd always sleep on the deck of the boat.
: You've been watching me this whole time?
: [Elayne chuckles]
: That's where you go tomorrow?
: What's it like?
: Without Egwene and Nynaeve…
: lonely.
: Aviendha, I… [stammers]
: Finally.
Egwene: Mmm.
: [sighs]
: Egwene Sedai.
: [chuckles]
: What was it like in the Arches?
: I'm not supposed to tell anyone.
: You can at least tell me if it was good or bad.
: [chuckles]
: It was…
: It was terrible.
: You forget what's real.
: What's important.
: And I was there, wasn't I?
: No. No, not you. Not… Not exactly.
: The Dragon, then.
: Did I hurt you?
: I'm not afraid of you, Rand.
: [sighs]
: I'm with you, until the end.
: [exclaiming]
Rand: I'm sorry.
: Let's just sleep.
: I want to try.
: [inhales sharply]
: -[bell dings] -[gasps]
: [sighs]
: Oh. [chuckles]
: [laughs, snorts]
: -[laughing] -[scoffs, chuckles]
: What happened to you?
: This? Uh…
: A gentleman never tells.
: [groans]
: You can't ignore this.
: Or me.
: You can suddenly speak the Old Tongue.
: Your memory is all over the place. You're not sleeping.
: And that bloody Horn…
: You cling to it like a child.
: Sometimes it's very hard to know the difference between medicine and poison with you.
: The difference is the dosage. And the Wisdom's patience.
: That's very good. [chuckles]
: The Old Wisdom used to tell us that.
: It was usually before she chased me out of her hut with a broom.
: When she passed, I became your Wisdom, Mat.
: I'm still your Wisdom.
: Tell me the truth.
: It's just since I blew the horn, I have all these memories.
: And they just keep running in my head at a hundred miles an hour, and that's why I can't sleep.
: It's because every time that it's quiet, I can hear… I can hear…
: Close your eyes.
: Close them.
: What can you hear?
: [people screaming]
: Fighting. [stammers]
: Pain… There's people screaming and sobbing.
: [screaming continues]
: And they are dying, over and over again.
: [screaming stops]
: Some of them speak like us, but…
: but mostly it's in Old Tongue.
: Is it real?
: It was real. I-I think.
: A long time ago.
: Will you help… Will you help me, Nynaeve?
: Yes.
: I… I don't know how, but I'll try.
: Thanks.
: [whimpers]
: [gasps, whimpers]
: Bow!
: [gasps, breathing heavily]
: [chuckles]
: Are you seeing this?
: Seeing what?
: [people screaming, distorted]
: [gasps, strains]
: [whimpers] No.
: It's me!
: Rand!
: Stop, it's me!
: [grunts, gasps]
: [grunts] Egwene, run!
: -[grunts] -[grunts] Egwene, run!
: -[breathes shakily] -Perrin?
: -[grunting] -[Loial] Perrin! No!
: [Loial, Perrin clamoring]
: Mat, something's wrong.
: Mat!
: [screams]
: [groaning]
: [screaming in distance]
: -[grunts] -[breathing shakily]
: [grunting]
: [gasps, whimpers]
: [screaming continues]
: [exclaiming]
: [groaning, exclaiming]
: -[both straining] -[groaning]
: [breathing heavily]
: Mat!
: [screaming continues]
: [Nynaeve] Help!
: [exclaims]
: [people screaming]
: [straining, groaning]
: [suspenseful music plays]
: Rand!
: Mat!
: Rand! It's the mirrors!
: [breathing heavily]
: [grunts]
: -[breathes heavily] -[grunting]
: [screams]
: Mat!
: Lan! Lan!
: Lan!
: Rand! Let go.
: Rand!
: Let go!
: Rand!
: -[Nynaeve] Lan! -[grunts]
: [exhales shakily]
: -[Lan] No! -Nynaeve! Nynaeve!
: What happened to her? What happened?
: -Why? -[Nynaeve breathing heavily]
: No.
: -Egwene. -[grunts]
: [grunts]
: [breathing heavily]
: They found us, didn't they?
: -[sniffling] -[Nynaeve] The Forsaken found us.
: [residents chattering]
: You went a bit far.
: Axe, mirrors, cards…
: -I played my part brilliantly. -No one was to be harmed.
: Nothing a little Healing couldn't take care of.
: You wanted it to be convincing.
: You almost killed Nynaeve.
: I didn't touch her.
: She was stabbed 11 times.
: -By who? -[Moiraine] An assassin.
: Gray eyes. Blackened fingers.
: He walked right through the Inn without anyone seeing him.
: A gray man…
: There is only one Forsaken who can create them.
: Get Rand out of the city now.
: This happened because of me.
: The Forsaken will attack again soon.
: I have to go now.
: I can't go with you.
: I couldn't channel. Not in Falme, not here.
: Nynaeve…
: I knew I had to go back to the Tower. I-I just didn't know how to tell you.
: But I can't protect myself, or fight by your side until I learn to control it.
: Um, I'm gonna stay.
: With Ny.
: If that's all right.
: 'Cause if anyone can fix me, uh… my head, it's…
: it's her.
Rand: You're going home.
: -I'm sorry-- -[Rand] No, don't be.
: This is my path, not yours.
: It's not the last time we'll see each other.
: You'll stay at the Tower too.
: I told you, I'm not going anywhere.
: They won't stop coming for me.
: Let them try.
: Everything's ready for your journey home.
: Then let's go, before the day is lost.
: We're coming with you.
: You saved my life, Builder.
: I owe you toh.
: I go where she goes.
: [chuckles]
: I'm sorry.
: [sighs]
: Don't be.
: Last time, it was my choice to leave you behind.
: This time it seems only fair that it is yours.
: The right choice.
: [emotional music plays]
: [sighs]
: [chuckles]
: It is my mother's ring.
: A ring worn by many of the most powerful women in Malkieri history.
: I would want no other woman as my Queen, Nynaeve.
: In any life we might have lived.
: [exhales sharply]
: [all chuckling]
: Here, this is so my sisters don't forget what I look like.
: -[Rand] Ah. -[Mat chuckles]
Rand: You look nothing like that picture.
Mat: Yeah, it doesn't do me justice.
Rand: Right, come here.
: -[all sighing] -I'm gonna miss you.
: May our paths meet again, Elayne Trakand.
: I'd like that.
Rand: Thank you.
: Remember who you are, Rand al'Thor.
: No matter what you may become.
: Do you ever notice that the White Tower -looks like a massive… -Move.
: [both chuckling]
: I thought you would've gone with Perrin.
: Or Elayne.
: You are the Car'a'carn, whether you or I like it.
: My duty is to you, as yours is to your people.
: I paid the dock master for her fastest ship.
: If the wind holds, we'll be in Tear in a week.
: We're not going to Tear.
: The Forsaken won't stop coming for you.
: In Tear, with Callandor--
: We're going to the last place the Forsaken or anyone else would ever think to look for me.
: A place to find the army I need to fight the Shadow.
: We're going to the Aiel Waste.
Moghedien: Softly, softly from the Shadows.
: [captive murmuring] I did what our Master asked of me.
: -I did… [whimpering] -I hate the sound of it.
: I did… I did what our Master asked of me--
: You know what happens if we break our Dark Oaths, right?
: -I did what our Master-- -Please don't talk.
: We lose our souls. A true death.
: But if you ask for it, then you become something different.
: Not light or dark. Something gray.
: Do you want to be gray, Jaichim?
: Jaichim?
: No, I don't want to…
: [whimpers]
: -[grunts] -That's your blood. I'm freezing it.
: [screams] Stop! By the light stop!
: Do you want to be gray, Jaichim?
: No!
: Stop.
: [grunting] Please. I don't want to be gray.
: [screaming]
: I'm only going to ask one last time.
: Do you want to be gray, Jaichim?
: [screaming]
: [screaming] Yes! Yes!
: Please just… stop.
: -Jaichim. -[bell chimes]
: You're mine now.
: I have someone I need you to find.
: [person] To lead is to know where you came from.
: Each step forward, a step backwards through time.
Siuan: The world is changing.
: Who knows how deep the Shadow's roots have taken hold here?
: You are to be my hounds,
: hunting down the Black Ajah and the objects of power they stole.
Liandrin: I need the bracelet.
: We're going to collar the Dragon Reborn.
: Didn't think you'd be in for this kind of thing.
: I think everyone is in for this kind of thing.
: If the White Tower does not bend the knee to Rand al'Thor, he will lose the Last Battle.
: I'm here to protect him.
: So am I.
: The Forsaken won't just come for Rand.
: They'll come for all of us.
: To enter the Dream World means to take a risk.
Perrin: This is my home.
: It's not safe for you here, not anymore.
: This isn't a raiding party. This is an army.
: -Get ready. -Archers, loose!
: Do you love her?
: Violence never ends until someone says "enough."
: We don't win battles with politics and prophecies,
: we win battles with armies.
Aviendha: Our people have been waiting for the Car'a'carn's arrival.
: To think it might be you…
: This is what I was born to do.
: Make them believe in you and they will follow you to the ends of the earth.
Moiraine: I won't be here forever.
: You cannot afford to fail.
