The Guide is being developed by True Source, a joint venture between iwot productions and AI software firm D1srupt1ve.[1][2]
The Guide is expected to be released in summer 2024 on Android, iOS, and web. It will require a fee to use.[1][2]

The Guide was announced on February 15, 2024, and applications for closed beta were opened the same day.[1][2] Individuals who submitted an application for closed beta received an automatic email in response, informing them that the company "[planned] to notify all applicants of their status within the next two weeks".[3] As of late April 2024, more than two months after applications were opened for closed beta, no fans have reported hearing back.[4]

- Create content: Users can "create their own personalized content, such as a new story that is written by the AI just for them, based on their own prompts."
