While on the road, Mat Cauthon begins the song. Egwene al'Vere, Rand al'Thor, and Perrin Aybara all join into the song. The song is about the nation of Manetheren and its fall. After the villagers finish the song, Moiraine tells them the history of the nation that the song is about.[1]
