Seta is a character introduced in season 2 of The Wheel of Time television series portrayed by Jade-Eleena Dregorius.
Seta is a Seanchan sul'dam who trains damane in Falme.
History[]
Early life[]
Seta was likely born and raised in the Seanchan lands across the Aryth Ocean. She became a sul'dam with the Seanchan empire and crossed the ocean in their ships. She is a sul'dam training damane in the coastal city Falme.[1]
Season 2[]
Seta and other sul'dam, such as Renna, go outside the city of Falme to test their damane's strength in the One Power. Under Mulaen's instruction, Seta is the first to give a demonstration, and her damane's blast of air almost reaches the group. This is quickly outshone by Renna and her damane Egwene al'Vere, whose blast of air knocks over the group and reaches the city itself.[1]
Seta is later walking the streets of Falme alone when she in confronted by Nynaeve al'Meara and Elayne Trakand. Nynaeve shows off the a'dam bracelet she's wearing to distract Seta, allowing Nynaeve to place the a'dam collar on her and for Elayne to knock her out.[1] The pair force Seta to escort them through the city to find Egwene, but during the Battle of Falme, Seta is fatally shot by a Whitecloak crossbowman.[2]

Set is an adult woman with long brown hair and brown eyes. She wears the standard uniform of the sul'dam, and she has engravings in the skin of her face denoting her status.

(book spoilers!) from the book series.
- Appearance - In the books, Seta Zarbey is described as being of small stature, and having pale skin, blue eyes, and blonde hair. In the TV series, she's taller with brown hair and eyes.
- Capture - In the books, Seta is patrolling the streets of Falme with a damane when Nynaeve and Elayne confront her. In the TV series, she's walking alone.
