Sammael (Old Tongue for Destroyer of Hope) is one of the Forsaken. He is an extremely powerful channeler from the Age of Legends who is sworn to the Dark One.[1]
History[]
Sammael was born in the Age of Legends, and rose to become one of the Dark One's Chosen. He was sealed away by Lews Therin Telamon during the War of Power, having been captured before Lews Therin confronted Ishamael.[1]
Season 2[]
Ishamael asks Lanfear why she thinks he woke her first before the other Chosen, and she mentions that "the boys couldn't execute a plan even if they were under Compulsion," referring to Sammael and the other male Chosen.[2]
Moghedien reveals to Lanfear that Ishamael freed the other Forsaken from their seals before his death. This would include Sammael.[1]
