Rima Te Wiata is a New Zealander actress who portrays Sheriam Bayanar in season 2 of Prime Video's The Wheel of Time.[1]
On June 15, 2022, WoT Series identified Rima Te Wiata in the season 2 wrap video, although Te Wiata's role remained unknown.[2] In March 2023, Te Wiata's agency CV was updated to indicate that her role was Sheriam.[3] The casting was officially confirmed at JordanCon 2023.[1]

Prior to The Wheel of Time, Te Wiata was known for portraying Bella Faulkner in Hunt for the Wilderpeople (2016), Miriam Bucknell in Housebound (2014), Mrs. Cripps aka Little Buttercup in H.M.S. Pinafore (1997), and Jacko in Shark in the Park (1989–1990).
