Priyanka Bose is an Indian actress who portrays Alanna Mosvani on Prime Video's The Wheel of Time.
General overview[]
Prior to The Wheel of Time, Priyanka Bose was best known for portraying Hathaway in Mortal (2020), Aai in Half Ticket (2016), Kamla in Lion (2016), and the titular character in Gangor (2010).
Bose's casting as Alanna was announced on December 23, 2019.[1]
After season 1 episode 6 The Flame of Tar Valon, in which Maksim passes a piece of fruit to Alanna, it became a meme in fandom that Alanna likes snacks. In December 2021, Priyanka Bose said, "This meme makes me laugh so much. Thank you dear passionate fans."[2] Priyanka Bose has shared multiple posts embracing the meme.[3][4][5]
