Nukâka Coster-Waldau is a Greenlandic actress who portrays Bair beginning in season 3 of The Wheel of Time television series.
General overview[]
Prior to The Wheel of Time, Nukâka Coster-Waldau was best known for portraying Ina Lynge in the TV series Thin Ice (2020), a news anchor in Det grå guld (2013), a journalist in the TV series The Killing (2007), Anori in Anori (2018).
Nukâka Coster-Waldau was formerly Miss Greenland, and she went on to participate in the 1990 Miss Universe Pageant; she finished in 19th place in the preliminaries, giving Greenland its highest placement at Miss Universe.
On April 16, 2024, Nukâka Coster-Waldau's casting in The Wheel of Time was first reported by WotSeries,[1] although her role was unknown. On January 15, 2025, Nukâka Coster-Waldau's casting as Bair was officially announced.[2]
