A Novice is a character introduced in season 2 of The Wheel of Time television series portrayed by Salle Salée.
History[]
Season 2[]
The Novice attends a class being led by Alanna Mosvani in the kitchens. When Alanna asks the class what the five elements of the One Power are, the Novice answers correctly. Alanna then demonstrates how to weave flows of Earth and Water together to filter out silt from a dirty glass of water and make it fresh enough to drink. The Novice then completes the weave herself.[1]

- On June 1, 2022, WoT Series reported that Salle Salée would portray the role of Elsa Treehill,[2] which was listed on her agency CV. However, alternative CVs listed her role as "Novice", indicating the character will be a Novice in the White Tower.[3] The character was simply credited as an unnamed novice in season 2.

The novice is a new character for the television series, or at least represents an amalgamation of various unnamed novices from the books.
