Narg is a minor character in The Wheel of Time television series. He is a Trolloc that attacks the al'Thor farm during the attack on the Two Rivers on Bel Tine.
History[]
Season 1[]
Narg presumably arrived in the Two Rivers with the other trollocs and a Fade. He is the only trolloc to go to the al'Thor farm, and he breaks down the door and begins attacking Rand and Tam. Tam pulls out a sword and begins holding him off. While Narg gets Tam pinned against a wall, Rand stabs Narg through the throat with a fire poker, killing him.[1]
Narg's weapon was coated in Trolloc poison, which infects Tam after Narg injures him. Tam quickly weakens and goes unconcious until Rand gets him back to the village where Tam is healed by Moiraine.[1]

Narg is a large trolloc, at least 8 feet high. He has horns, tusks, and is covered with thick brown fur.

- Before the premiere, Rafe Judkins confirmed that Narg would appear in the television series in some form.[2]
- Despite his minor role in the book series, Narg had already become somewhat of a meme among Wheel of Time fans before the announcement of the television show, mostly due to the fact that he is the only Trolloc who is depicted on-page as speaking a human language. This is likely why Rafe Judkins confirmed that Narg would be in the television series on multiple occasions, even though he is a relatively minor character in the books.
- Several leaks from the television series have been made by a member of the production team who uses the name "Narg" online.
Changes from the book series[]
Narg is an adaptation of the character of the same name 
(book spoilers!) from the book series. Narg fulfills basically the same role in the television series, in that he attacks the al'Thors.
- Group - In the books, Narg is one of several Trollocs that attack the al'Thor farm. In the show, he attacks alone.
- Speaking - In the books, Narg tries to speak with Rand. He does not speak at all in the show.
- Death - In the books, Rand kills Narg with his father's sword. In the show, Rand uses a fire poker.
