Naana Agyei-Ampadu is a British actress who portrays Danya on Prime Video's The Wheel of Time.
General overview[]
Prior to The Wheel of Time, Agyei-Ampadu was mostly known for her stage performances which include Caroline or Change (2018), Avenue Q (2006), and Juliet in Measure for Measure. She won critical acclaim for her role as Yvonne in Ché Walker’s Been So Long (2009), and she was nominated for an Evening Standard Theatre Award for her performance.
Agyei-Ampadu was at the table read for the first and second episodes in September 2019.[1][2] On October 3, 2019, her involvement in The Wheel of Time was revealed on Twitter by her talent agency.[3] On Agyei-Ampadu's agency profile page, her character's name was revealed to be Danya.[4]
