The Mountains of Doom stretch from the Aryth Ocean in the west to meet the Spine of the World in the west. They mark the boundary between the Westlands and the Great Blight.[1]

The Mountains of Doom are adapted from the Mountains of Dhoom 
(book spoilers!) from the book series, with the name being only slightly changed in the television series.
