Matěj Paprčiak is a Czech actor who portrayed an unnamed sanitarium patient in season 2 of The Wheel of Time television series.

General overview[]

Matěj Paprčiak is best known for being a footballer (soccer player). He retired following a ligament injury and became a model and actor. Prior to The Wheel of Time, Matěj Paprčiak portrayed Dorian in Date (2021 short), the husband in Mandrage: Vidím to ruzove (2019 music video), and Yans in Quiet Crossing (2019 short).

Matěj Paprčiak filmed for The Wheel of Time in August 2021. A year later, Paprčiak made a post on Instagram showing himself behind the scenes in costume.[2] The costume is worn by patients of the sanitarium in Cairhien, such as Errol, as first seen in season 2 episode 2 Strangers and Friends, indicating that Paprčiak portrayed a sanitarium patient. His official profile on Spotlight and IMDb both list his role as "Young Man".
