Mandein is a character introduced in season 3 of The Wheel of Time television series portrayed by Josha Stradowski.
Mandein is Rand al'Thor's paternal ancestor. He is the first clan chief to go through the trial of Rhuidean.
History[]
Early life[]
When Latra Posae Decume calls the Aiel clan chiefs to Rhuidean, Mandein answers the call. Sealdre tells him that he must agree to what Latra asks. He witnesses the creation of the glass columns ter'angreal and is first to agree to go through.[1]
Season 3[]
When Rand enters the glass columns ter'angreal and experiences the lives of his paternal ancestors, his second vision is of Mandein.[1]

Mandein is an adult man with long red hair and a full beard.
