‘Lord Gaebril,’ Queen Morgase's male consort. Both her lover and adviser, he assists in overseeing matters political and military. Andor is a matriarchal society, and so his power and influence, though vast, are always second to that of his Queen, to whom his loyalties and services are sworn.

Gaebril is in fact Rahvin (Old Tongue for Promise of Freedom), and is one of the Forsaken. He is a dangerous channeler from the Age of Legends who serves the Dark One, and is best known for his skill with Compulsion.
History[]
Rahvin was born in the Age of Legends and rose to become one of the Dark One's Chosen. He was sealed away by Lews Therin Telamon before the Breaking of the World.
Season 3[]
Rahvin has disguised himself as Lord Gaebril, the lover of Queen Morgase Trakand. His weaves of Compulsion make all who meet him believe that he and Morgase have lived together for over a decade.[3]
Gaebril comes to the White Tower with Morgase and her sons, Galad and Gawyn, and is present alongside her in the Hall of the Tower. Throughout his stay, several people took a moment before recognizing him. He lends support to Elayne after Morgase makes her intentions known that she wants her daughter back in Caemlyn.[4]
Gaebril later meets with Lanfear and Sammael, and it is apparent that he is truly Rahvin. The three discuss forming an alliance to oppose Moghedien and her schemes. However, once the other two leave, Rahvin lends his support to Moghedien, who had been listening in on the meeting.[3]
