Latra Posae Decume is a character in The Wheel of Time television series portrayed by Katie Brayben.
Latra Posae Decume is an Aes Sedai during the Age of Legends and an old friend of Lews Therin Telamon.
History[]
Early life[]
Latra became an Aes Sedai and later became the Tamyrlin Seat. At some point, she and Lews Therin became friends.
Season 1[]
At the end of the previous Age, Latra visits Lews Therin to discuss his plan to confront the Dark One and seal him away. Despite her friendship with Lews Therin, Latra considers his plan too risky, and she and the other female Aes Sedai will not lend support.[2]
Physical appearance[]
Latra is an adult woman with fair skin and brown hair. She wears loose-fitting white clothes in the style of the time.

- Latra speaks the Old Tongue, which was the common language of her time. She and Lews Therin are the first characters introduced who speak the Old Tongue as their native language.

Latra Posae Decume is an adaptation of the character of the same name 
(book spoilers!) from the book series.
- Tamyrlin Seat - In the book series, Latra is not mentioned to have served as Tamyrlin Seat. Lews Therin wore the Ring of Tamyrlin at the end of the Age of Legends, and Latra was an extremely influential leader among the female Aes Sedai.
- Friendship - From the books, it's not established that Latra and Lews Therin were close friends, or that they ever had such important discussions in private.
