The Karaethon Cycle is a body of prophecies relating to the end of the Third Age. It contains the Prophecies of the Dragon, relating to the actions of the Dragon Reborn.[1]
Overview[]
The Karaethon Cycle was composed in the very early Third Age, relating to how the age would end. They have been translated again and again, by hundreds of Aes Sedai.[2]
Prophecies of the Dragon[]
The multiple prophecies relating to the Dragon Reborn directly discuss her or him breaking the world or saving it.
- "All Glory be to the Creator, and to the Light, and to the Dragon who shall be born again. May the Light save us."
Activities[]
In the library of the Light's Blessing Inn in Tar Valon, Rand al'Thor encounters a copy of the Karaethon Cycle. He is approached by Loial, who ends up changing the topic of conversation.[3]
