Jay Duffy is an actor who portrays Dain Bornhald in Prime Video's The Wheel of Time.

Duffy's involvement with The Wheel of Time was first officially announced on April 22, 2023 at JordanCon.[1]

General overview[]

Prior to The Wheel of Time, Duffy was best known for portraying Harry in Derry Girls (2019-2022), Ari in Vikings (2014), Declan Brady in Hollyoaks (2011-2012), Victor in Handsome Devil (2016), and Dane Preen in Playground (2017).

  • After his casting announcement, Jay Duffy changed his Twitter profile location to Amador, which is the city where the Children of the Light are headquartered.
  • Jay Duffy came out of a three year Twitter hiatus to tweet in response to his Wheel of Time casting announcement. He tweeted on April 24, 2023,[3] and his previous Tweet was from May 19, 2020.
