Janduin is a character introduced in season 3 of The Wheel of Time television series portrayed by Josha Stradowski.
Janduin was Rand's biological father who fought in the Battle of the Shining Walls.
History[]
Janduin fell in love with Tigraine Mantear, the former Daughter-Heir of Andor who had joined the Aiel as a Maidens of the Spear. During the Battle of the Shining Walls, Janduin personally slew King Laman Damodred. He and his companions then found the body of Tigraine, who had died shortly after giving birth to their son. There was no sign of the baby.[1]
According to Ishamael, he was long dead by 998 NE.[2]
