Jain Farstrider became known as a legendary traveler and adventurer. Jain's journeys became well-known across the Westlands when The Travels of Jain Farstrider was published.
As a child, Egwene al'Vere loved to read The Travels of Jain Farstrider every day, and said she was the reincarnation of Jain Farstrider.[1]

Rand al'Thor finds a copy of The Travels of Jain Farstrider in the Light's Blessing Inn in Tar Valon, and tells Loial how Egwene used to read the book every day.[1]
