High Lord Turak

High Lord Turak is a character introduced in season 2 of The Wheel of Time television series.

High Lord Turak is a Seanchan nobleman of the Blood.

History[]

Early life[]

Turak was made royal commander of the Hailene when the preliminary Seanchan invasion force sailed to the Westlands with the aim of conquering it and completing the Return.[1]

Season 2[]

Turak's forces are in Falme, and he has conquered the large town on the coast of Toman Head in the name of Seanchan. However, he reprimands High Lady Suroth for taking a force of soldiers to Atuan's Mill, as she has lost the small town that was too far away for the Seanchan to properly hold. He orders her to speak for herself instead of using her Voice, Alwhin, and orders her long nails to be cut to show her disgrace. However, Ishamael and Padan Fain arrive to give him the Horn of Valere. The High Lord is impressed, and he says that the legendary object will allow the Seanchan to conquer the entire world. Suroth also later presents him with Egwene al'Vere, a very powerful channeler who is leashed and made damane.[1]
