Healing is the ability to cure illness and injury through the use of the One Power.[1]

Overview[]

Healing uses weaves that make use of the elements of Air, Water, and Spirit.[2] Anything short of death itself can potentially be Healed by the One Power. Healing is considered to be the only cure for a Trolloc-poisoned wound.[3]

A channeler can only use Healing on others, and cannot Heal oneself using the One Power.[3]

Season 1[]

On Winternight, Moiraine Damodred Heals Tam al'Thor from his Trolloc-poisoned wound.[1] Her own injuries pose a problem for her party on the road, and she begins to grow weaker.[3] Lan Mandragoran brings her to other Aes Sedai to be Healed, and Kerene Nagashi successfully Heals Moiraine from her poisoned wound.[4][5]

After Logain Ablar grievously wounds many with the One Power by shattering Stepin's axe and sending shrapnel flying, Nynaeve al'Meara demonstrates her incredible gift for Healing and her extreme strength in the One Power when she sends forth a burst of Healing which heals the injuries of everyone still alive in the cave.[5] In Tar Valon, the Aes Sedai of the Yellow Ajah Heal Perrin Aybara of his injuries from the Children of the Light, and Moiraine provides Healing to Mat while severing his connection to the ruby-hilted dagger from Shadar Logoth.[6]

When Nynaeve is gravely injured from a linking going wrong at the battle at Tarwin's Gap, Egwene al'Vere successfully Heals her of her injuries.[7]

Changes from the book series[]

Healing is an adaptation of the weave of the same name Booklink (book spoilers!) from the book series.
