The Fal Dara Waygate is the closest Waygate to the city of Fal Dara. It is also the closest Waygate there is to the Eye of the World.[1]
Activities[]
After they flee Machin Shin in the Ways who was drawn by Rand and Egwene channeling to defeat a Trolloc, Moiraine Damodred channels the Fal Dara Waygate open, escaping with Lan Mandragoran, Loial, Rand al'Thor, Egwene al'Vere, Perrin Aybara, and Nynaeve al'Meara.
When they arrive in Fal Dara, they ask Lord Agelmar and Lady Amalisa Jagad to seal off the Waygate, as Shadowspawn have begun to use the Ways. The lord and lady of the city agree, though Padan Fain has already used the Ways to travel from Tar Valon to Fal Dara.[1]
