Elyas Machera is a character introduced in season 2 of The Wheel of Time television series. He is portrayed by Gary Beadle.
Elyas is a "sniffer" who joins Lord Ingtar Shinowa's party to a company of Shienaran soldiers track Padan Fain and the stolen Horn of Valere.

Season 2[]
Elyas meets up with Lord Ingtar's party in Arad Doman. Uno berates him for seemingly setting off a signal fire that could attract Fain and his Darkfriends, but Elyas says that it is not his. He leads the group to a Tuatha'an wagon that was attacked by Darkfriends, and he is able to physically sense that a child made it out. They continue to find the corpse of a dog that had been trying to protect the girl, and the body of a Shienaran Darkfriend that had let Fain into Fal Dara. Uno spits on the corpse and declares him a traitor, but Ingtar insists on a burial. During the memorial service, Elyas attends to the body of the dog.[1]

Elyas is a wolfbrother, and appears to have fully mastered his abilities. His eyes are permanently golden, and he has developed a taste for raw meat.[2]

(book spoilers!) from the book series.
- Introduction - In the books, Elyas first meets Perrin and Egwene after they escape Shadar Logoth and before they meet the Tuatha'an. In the show, he meets Perrin as he is searching for the Horn of Valere.
- "Sniffer" - In the books, another character named Hurin
(book spoilers!) is the "sniffer" that searches for Fain. His abilities are different from that of a wolfbrother.
