Danya is a character in The Wheel of Time television series portrayed by Naana Agyei-Ampadu.[1] She is a young woman from the Two Rivers who enjoys dicing with Mat Cauthon, Rand al'Thor, and Perrin Aybara.[2]

Danya was born and raised in the Two Rivers.

Season 1[]
Danya dices with Mat, Rand, and Perrin at the Winespring Inn. Mat loses his throw of dice, and Danya wins. Mat wants to play again, but Danya leaves, telling him to have better luck next time. After Mat speaks with Perrin and Rand for a bit, he leaves to go see Danya again. The two are still speaking in the inn when Lan and Moiraine arrive, and like many patrons, Danya is silent after the arrival of the two strangers.
The next day, Mat speaks with the peddler Padan Fain, and trades Danya's bracelet for three Bel Tine lanterns. Padan Fain asks if he'll be able to sell the bracelet in town, guessing that Mat stole it.
It is unknown what happened to Danya during the Shadowspawn attack on the Two Rivers.[3]
Physical appearance[]
Danya is a young woman, around her early twenties. She has dark brown skin, dark brown eyes, and black hair. The day before Bel Tine, she wears a red dress and jewelry, including an intricate false gold bracelet, which is later stolen by Mat.
