Daniel Francis is a British actor who portrays High Lord Turak in Prime Video's The Wheel of Time.
General overview[]
Prior to The Wheel of Time, Daniel Francis was best known for portraying Dave Shaw in the mini-series Stay Close (2021), Esmond Smith in the mini-series Small Axe (2020), and Baron Samdi / Dr. Facilier in the TV series Once Upon a Time (2017-2018). He will also portray Marcus Anderson in Bridgerton season 3.
Daniel Francis's involvement in The Wheel of Time was first repoted by WoT Series on May 18, 2022.[2] His involvement was confirmed when the season 2 trailer was released, showing Daniel Francis in the role. Francis also posted to his Instagram on July 19, 2023, confirming his role in the series.[3]
