The Blue Ajah of the Aes Sedai are associated with causes of righteousness and justice.[1]
History[]
The Blue Ajah began to regularly keep an eye on Min Farshaw after her abilities to see glimpses of the Pattern was discovered. They allowed her relative freedom, as her ability was determined to be independent of the One Power.[2]
Season 1[]
Political tensions begin to grow at the White Tower, and Siuan Sanche, who was raised from the Blue, begins to lose some political support. During a session of the Hall of the Tower, Maigan, a Sitter for the Blue Ajah, attempts to stop the Amyrlin Seat from questioning Moiraine Damodred when Liandrin Guirale asks about her mysterious activities, but Siuan dismisses her objection. Moiraine refuses to answer, not being able to lie, and not wanting to expose her mission to find the Dragon Reborn. Maigan finds Moiraine after the session and orders her to stay in the Tower, but when Siuan judges Moiraine for her disobedience and intractability, she banishes the Blue sister from the Tower.[3]
