Interviews Roundup - December 2023
The Wheel of Time season 2 premiered during the actors' strike, so we missed out on the typical press junket interviews that we'd usually see around release to promote the series. The series appears to be making up for that with a new batch of interviews!
This is a list of all the recent The Wheel of Time cast interviews, in a sortable table. (To see the most recent interviews, sort by date!) I will add more as they're released.
- 1 List of cast interviews
- 2 New images
Along with the new batch of interviews, Amazon Studios released new promotional images of the characters.
I'll add more interviews and images if they're posted. Please let me know if I've missed any!
Aes Sedai theme translation
After a few research here is my translation :
Let me explain my choices :
- To me "saidin" seems wrongly used here and should be replaced by "saidar" as we speak about the female part of the One Power. It feels weird that "saidin" could be the general noun for "power" as it isn't used this way in the books or in the companion.
- "Greanin" is a word that seems to have been made up for the song and is translated by "channelers" in the Official translation ("greal" = "the power to channel"). I chose the form "channeling" in the 1st verse since the last one added "an" (preposition) meaning "of, for the, of the". So it felt weird to translate "Greanin saidin" by "Channelers of the Power" whereas "Greanin an saidin" suits better this translation.
- "Grea…

The Wheel of Time (Content Analysis)
As I see it, its a Cyclical Journey of Life in a Fantasy world of Magic and Politics, the fight between the Powers of Good and Evil.
The Wheel of Time, being an Audio Visual Depiction of the Book Series written by Mr. Robert Jordan. It may be a best choice for Amazon and Mr. Jeff Bezos to attract more subscribers towards Amazon Video Prime, along with the upcoming series The Lord of the Rings, acclaimed as the most costly content produced so far, and the largest television series ever made, as reported on many websites.
“I want my Game of Thrones,” CEO Jeff Bezos (GQ.com)
Although it was a good watch, but first season is not so gripping due to the slow build up of the Plot. The Book Series almost consists 10,000 pages and summing all the ingre…
