Baerlon is a town in the west of Andor.

Plot summary

In Breen's Spring, Dana asks Mat where he's from. He nearly tells her the truth, that he's from the Two Rivers, but he covers it by saying he and Rand are from Baerlon. Dana later asks Rand if he's from Baerlon as well, and Rand says he is.

Baerlon is an adaptation of the town of the same name  (book spoilers!) from the book series.

• In the book series, Moiraine, Lan, Rand, Mat, Perrin, and Egwene visit Baerlon after leaving the Two Rivers and before entering Shadar Logoth. It is here that they encounter the Whitecloaks, and where Nynaeve meets up with them for the first time. It is also where they first meet Min Farshaw.
