Asan Sandair

Asan Sandair is a character introduced in season 2 of The Wheel of Time television series portrayed by Ken Bradshaw.

Asan Sandair guards the gate between the city of Cairhien and the Foregate.

History[]

Early life[]

Season 2[]

Asan Sandair is on duty at the gate between the Foregate and the inner city when Rand passes through. Rand shows papers proving he has a job in the city, which Sandair checks and approves, allowing Rand to pass.[1]

After the Crescent Inn where Rand was staying burned down, Moiraine Damodred asks Sandair what he knows about. Sandair doesn't have much information to offer, and he doesn't know where Rand has gone now. When Moiraine gets home, she is confronted by her sister Anvaere, who reveals that she is aware of Moiraine's questioning and suggests that Sandair may be one of her eyes and ears in the city.[2]

Asan Sandair is an adult man with a bald head. He wears the uniform of the Cairhien gate guards.
