Artur Hawkwing is a character in The Wheel of Time television series portrayed by Adrian Bouchet.
Artur Hawkwing is a Hero of the Horn.[1] In life, he was a legendary historical figure who laid siege to the White Tower.[2]
History[]
As an extremely mighty military leader, Artur Hawkwing besieged the Aes Sedai at the White Tower of Tar Valon. In order to end the siege, the Aes Sedai vowed to adopt the Three Oaths: that they would speak no word which was not true, to make no weapon with which one person could kill another, and never to use the One Power as a weapon, except in defense of her own life, her Warder's life, or another sister's life.[2]
Season 2[]
When Mat Cauthon blows the Horn of Valere atop Falme, Hawkwing appears as one of the Heroes. Hawkwing tells Mat that he has fought alongside him countless times, asking him to fight alongside the Heroes once more. Hawkwing repels a company of the Deathwatch Guard along with the other Heroes.[1]

(book spoilers!) from the book series.
- Three Oaths - Although Artur Hawkwing held an extreme dislike of the Aes Sedai and did lay siege to Tar Valon, he was not responsible for the adoption of the Three Oaths in the books. Instead, the Aes Sedai had already adopted the Oaths by the Trolloc Wars.
