Amaresu is a character in The Wheel of Time television series, first appearing in season 2. She is portrayed by Helen Tran.
Amaresu is a Hero of the Horn, a great hero from ages past who is called forth when the Horn of Valere is sounded.

Season 2[]
Amaresu appears on a palace battlement in Falme when Mat Cauthon sounds the Horn. She appears at Mat's left shoulder, and Artur Hawkwing appears at Mat's right, possibily indicating her as one of the key commanders of the Heroes of the Horn. Amaresu holds out her hand, asking Mat to give her the Horn, which she takes and stores away for the battle.
Uno Nomesta calls upon the other Heroes to start fighting, and Mat commands them to charge forth. Amaresu easily defeats many members of the Deathwatch Guard atop the battlement.[1]

Amaresu has a medium skin tone and dark hair. She wears very ornate, colorful robes, and fights with a long blade.
