Amar Chadha-Patel is a British actor who plays Lord Yakota on Prime Video's The Wheel of Time.
General overview[]
Prior to The Wheel of Time, Amar Chadha-Patel was known for portraying Preacher in The Third Day (2020), Stretch in Dashcam (2021), and Ram Lal in Beecham House (2019).
Amar Chadha-Patel's involvement in The Wheel of Time was first revealed in February 2021 when his agency profile was updated to show he was portraying the character Ingtar Shinowa.[1] However, he could not return for the second season due to scheduling conflicts with the Disney+ show Willow (2022-2023) after he was cast in a leading role as Thraxus Boorman. So Chadha-Patel's character in The Wheel of Time was renamed to Lord Yakota, an original character, with Ingtar first appearing in season 2 portrayed by Gregg Chilingirian.[2]
