Alexander Karim is a Swedish actor who plays Lews Therin Telamon in Prime Video's The Wheel of Time.
General overview[]
Prior to The Wheel of Time, Alexander Karim was best known for portraying Viktor Baker in Thin Ice (2020, 8 episodes), Muhammad Banir in Dying of the Light (2014 film), Ihab Rashid in Tyrant (2014–2016, 30 episodes), Douglas in Äkta människor (2013–2014, 7 episodes), and a detainee in Zero Dark Thirty (2012 film).
On December 20, 2021, Alexander Karim confirmed that he would play Lews Therin with Filmtopp.[2]
Karim wasn't familiar with The Wheel of Time and he initially declined the role of Lews Therin. But "they kept calling and finally [he] said yes" to the role.[3][2]
