Alanna's family is introduced in season 2 of The Wheel of Time television series. Two of Alanna Mosvani's sisters are portrayed by Neelam Bakshi and Lubna Kerr, and two of her cousins are portrayed Natasha Jayahendry and Krishan Naidoo.
Alanna's family lives in Arafel, where Alanna visits with her warders Ihvon and Maksim, and also with Lan Mandragoran.

Season 2[]
After Moiraine Damodred leaves Lan with Alanna, Alanna visits her family with Lan, Ihvon, and Maksim. Maksim plays with the children. Alanna prepares meals with her family and they sit down to eat together. Alanna jokes that if anyone comments on the salt she'll set them on fire. Two of Alanna's cousins tease her about having a third man (Lan) with her and joke about where he goes in bed.

Alanna's family are new characters in the television series, and are not adaptations of any characters from the book series. Other than her warders, Alanna's family was not introduced in the books.
