Aisyah Zulkarnain, who often goes by just Aisyah, is a Bruneian music producer and singer-songwriter. She has performed for songs used in the score of The Wheel of Time.
General overview[]
Aisyah was born in Liverpool, UK and grew up there for a few years before she and her family moved to Brunei (where her family is from). As a child, she played violin, the guitar, and piano, but settled on primarily being a vocalist. In her final year of high school, she decided she wanted to go into film scoring due to her interest in musical storytelling for visual media.[3]
In June 2021, 14th Street Music reached out to Aisyah and hired her to sing for the soundtrack. This was the first major project she has sung for.[4]
On October 9, 2021, the day after the single Al'Naito was released, Aisyah revealed her involvement with the series on social media:[4][5][6]

At the end of June, I got a call to record vocals for the upcoming @amazonprimevideo series @thewheeloftime. This is the first time my voice has been used for a huge project’s soundtrack and it feels so surreal to me. Was crying happy tears while simultaneously laughing with joy when I listened to the official single for the first time this morning. The lyric’s language is Old Tongue for those who are wondering.
