The Aiel War was a conflict between the Aiel and the nations of the Westlands.[1]
History[]
The Aiel War was inadvertently started by the king of Cairhien after he abandoned the four hundred-year truce between his nation and the Aiel. The great war lasted a little over two years, ravaging the Westlands, and many other nations joined Cairhien in its defense. The war ended with the Battle of the Shining Walls fought on the slopes of Dragonmount, where the king of Cairhien was killed.[2]
